PunnamadaResort has adopted the traditional Kerala architecture in the construction of the villas. Wood varieties are sumptuously used in the construction of the resort. The whole resort is designed to be preserved as natural as possible. The doors of the villas are decorated with traditional designs. The bedposts are used in all rooms. The interior is rich in wood and cane make. Chair, lamp shades, and curtains in the bathroom are mainly made of cane. The lock and keys of the rooms are of traditional kind and made of metal. The bathroom is provided with open roof and shrubs are planted for greenery inside the bath rooms. The flooring is a mix of pebbles and stones to give a natural feel. The exterior of the rooms are also build in the Kerala style layout.
